2010 Hurricane Season - Be Prepared
With the official start of hurricane season on June 1, the Iowa Colony Fire Department encourages you to take some time to prepare in the event of a hurricane. Do you have and your family have an emergency plan in place? Read below to make sure you're prepared in the event a storm threatens the area.

Iowa Colony Volunteer Fire Department is a completely volunteer emergency service. Without the men and women of the community donating their time the department would not exist. We are constantly looking for more volunteers. There is no such thing as too much help in this line of work. If you are interested in joining please download the application and return it to the fire station (CR 65 @ CR 63) on any Tuesday night from 7 pm - 9 pm.
